Steamboat Landing

Offers free boat landing and fishing pier, with views of historic landing. In the 19th Century steamboat service was established between Edisto and Charleston and other sea islands, which created a flurry of commerce on the island. To get to the boat landing, turn at the intersection of the Byway and Steamboat Landing Road and travel 1.25 miles.
